One will see from her Introduction that she is one that has also endured many struggles in her own family, as she speaks of the onset of Covid and unemployment hitting her family during the pandemic. She lovingly writes, “For with God, there is always hope. He will faithfully light your path.”
Twenty stories offer hope, intertwining life lessons and Scripture that are invaluable. Each chapter ends with a reflection section to ponder questions and your own journey. The ending chapter, A Final Reflection, is refreshing offering fresh words written from someone who has not only travailed on life’s path, but triumphed over many threatening storms, sickness, and trials. Her words are Biblical and full of faith and hope, offering the reader truth from the Bible that will keep them anchored, and possibly save some of those that are sinking in the depths of despair.
Hope for Your Journey is one of those books one would want to purchase 10 more copies to give out to friends and family! I would highly recommend this book to anyone experiencing life right now because the storms will come. This is one of those books that one can start their day off as a daily devotional, or even end the night with encouragement.
