The Frugal Book Promoter

A title for many authors in their spare time is the frugal book promoter. Authors seeking ways to promote and market their books for free or pennies on the dollar. While free marketing is one way for a author to market and promote their books, a author must set aside a yearly marketing budget and find frugal ways to get the most for their dollars. Free marketing rarely proves to be successful.

A good starting point and budget for a year of marketing is between $500.00 and $1,000.00. If you want to sell books and find success, you must have a marketing budget and money set aside specifically for marketing. While running around to create book buzz at free sites is helpful, it's also time consuming and lacks greatly in true professional and targeted marketing.

Having no marketing plan and budget is like trying to sell something in the middle of the desert 100's of miles away from people. You can have the greatest book cover, story and book and if you don't market it, no one is going to buy it.

You can have your book listed on Amazon, Barnes, Book A Millions and if no one knows who you are as a author or the title of your book, who's going to find it among the millions of other books.
You must promote and market your book and you as the author.
